Zydeco Chop Chop Cheesy Slow Cooked Cajun Chicken Pasta

Ingredients 

5 large chicken breasts 

Cajun seasoning to taste

1 ¾ cups Italian dressing 

¼ cup Zydeco Chop Chop

1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated 

1  8 oz block of cream cheese 

16 oz pasta, any type

1 tsp olive oil

1 loaf garlic bread (optional)


Directions

  1. Season chicken breast with cajun seasoning to taste, add to crockpot.  

  2. Add Italian dressing, Zydeco Chop Chop, ½ cup Parmesan cheese and cream cheese to the crockpot. 

  3. Set on low and cook for 4 hours. 

  4. When chicken is near the 4 hour mark, boil pasta according to your desired pasta’s cooking instructions. 

  5. Strain pasta, add olive oil and stir, set to the side. 

  6. Once chicken is cooked, set it on warm or off. Shred your chicken in the crockpot with two forks and mix to evenly coat it in your sauce. 

  7. Add your pasta to your crockpot and stir. Top with parmesan cheese and serve with freshly toasted garlic bread!
