Zydeco Chop Chop Meaty Mac & Cheese
Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef
¼ cup of ZCC hydrated with ½ cup water
6 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (14.5oz) diced tomatoes
1 can (14.5oz) beef broth
1 jar (24oz) red pasta sauce
8 oz elbow macaroni
4 cloves garlic. Chopped
2 tbsp mixed Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste
Directions
Over medium high heat brown ground beef with salt and pepper
Add in ZCC and Italian seasoning. Let cook for approx. 3 min.
Add in diced tomatoes, beef broth, red pasta sauce, and uncooked pasta. Stir to combine.
Bring up to a boil then lower heat, cover and simmer for approx. 20 min or until pasta is done
Stir in cheddar cheese and enjoy!
