Zydeco Chop Chop Meaty Mac & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef

  • ¼ cup of ZCC hydrated with ½ cup water

  • 6 oz shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 can (14.5oz) diced tomatoes

  • 1 can (14.5oz) beef broth 

  • 1 jar (24oz) red pasta sauce

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni

  • 4 cloves garlic. Chopped

  • 2 tbsp mixed Italian seasoning

  • Salt & pepper to taste 

Directions

  • Over medium high heat brown ground beef with salt and pepper

  • Add in ZCC and Italian seasoning. Let cook for approx. 3 min.

  • Add in diced tomatoes, beef broth, red pasta sauce, and uncooked pasta. Stir to combine. 

  • Bring up to a boil then lower heat, cover and simmer for approx. 20 min or until pasta is done 

  • Stir in cheddar cheese and enjoy!
